Dr. Dwarka

Dr. Dwarka, the full name of is Dwarka Prasad Athya. He was born in village Kanora Ramnagar which comes under Batiagarh tehsil of Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh. He has completed her Doctorate from, Department of Entomology, Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. He did his graduation in Agriculture and Post Graduation in Agricultural Entomology from Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India.

He has qualified NET thrice to be conducted by Agricultural Scientist Requirement Board (ASRB)-ICAR. He has done his M.Sc.(Ag.) research on “Study the biology and EIL of leaf Webber and capsule borer in sesame” and Ph.D.(Ag.) research on “Study of foraging behaviour of insect pollinators/visitors and its effect on yield attributes of niger crop, Guizotia abyssinica (L. f.) Cass”.

Along with this, he has received different awards from various professional societies and institutions and actively playing a role in many domestic/ foreign magazines/Journals. He has published many more research papers, manuals, books, booklets, e-books, book chapters, technical articles, review papers, popular articles, patents and abstracts etc.
