Dr. Shrinivas Baburao

Dr. Shrinivas Baburao is an accomplished dental professional specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Rural Al-Badar Dental College & Hospital, Gulbarga, and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) from Bapuji Dental College & Hospital, Davangere. He currently serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Dentistry at Nandi Medical College and Research Institute, Chikkaballapura, Karnataka.

With extensive academic and clinical experience, he has previously served as Dental Health Officer under the Government of Karnataka and as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at KIMS, Koppal. His professional contributions include academic leadership, dental education, healthcare administration, postgraduate guidance, and participation in complex maxillofacial surgical cases, including COVID-19-related mucormycosis complications.

He has authored and co-authored over 24 research publications and managed more than 100 maxillofacial fracture cases. He is also the editor and author of The Global Dental Manual Book and a co-patent holder of the Tiered Prosthodontic Shade Guide Holder (2026). He is a life member of the Indian Dental Association (IDA) and the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI), and is the founder of Anvi Dental Clinic and Arwin Dental Clinic, North Bengaluru.

His professional interests focus on advancing oral and maxillofacial healthcare, dental education, research, and evidence-based clinical practice.
