Dr. Shrinivas

Dr. Shrinivas has completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Rural Al-badar Dental College & Hospital, Gulbarga and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery from Bapuji Dental College & Hospital, Davangere. He is Currently working as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department (HOD) in the Department of Dentistry at Nandi Medical College and Research Institute, Chikkaballapura, Karnataka. He is a life member of Indian Dental Association (IDA) and Indian Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon Association (AOMSI).

He started his practice initially as a Dental Health Officer in HFW gov’t of Karnataka and later served as an Assistant Professor, Department of Dentistry at KIMS Koppal from 2017 to 2023. Subsequently he was promoted as Associate Professor at Department of dentistry - KIMS Koppal and continued to serve from 2023 to 2024. He has Conducted CME/CDE Topic on BLS, In KIMS, Koppal in 2018. He had held the post of Assistant Nodal officer for Digital Evaluation at KIMS Koppal (RGUHS) from 07/12/2019 to 07/02/2024.

He also had the added responsibility as Assistant Nodal Officer for Covid-19 Vaccination (12/1/2021 to 13/9/2021).He has served as a Member of Covid-19 Discharge committee for-2021 Covid and has been part of the complex surgeries involving Mucor Mycosis complications (Black Fungus). He has been Academic counsellor for IGNOU university Since-2019 to 2020. Has Held the post of Dash Board update Nodal officer for DME from 06/02/2023 to 07/02/2024.He has also been a PG diploma guide for PGDH&HM in Symbiosis Centre of Health Care, Pune. Nodal officer for E-Hospital, NMCRI since 2025, Nodal officer for Online RTI, NMCRI since 2025.

He possesses a deep and keen understanding of research, with a strong focus on advancing knowledge in his field. With over 20 publications in both Indian and international journals, his work has contributed significantly to the scientific community overall and is actively involved in his future projects.
