Dr. Vidyashree Nandini V

Dr. Vidyashree Nandini V is a Professor and Head of the Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge at SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate training at M. R. Ambedkar Dental College and Hospital and further pursued residency training at the National University of Singapore. She is the first prosthodontist in India to have completed the DNB in Prosthodontics and has over 26 years of academic, clinical, and research experience. A recognized PhD guide, she has mentored multiple research scholars and serves as an academic expert, examiner, and reviewer for various universities and scientific journals.

She is the recipient of several prestigious honours, including the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award, the Global Healthcare Award, and the Indian Glory Award. She has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, contributed to books and book chapters, and holds patents in dental innovation. Her areas of interest include geriatric dentistry, implant dentistry, digital dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, maxillofacial prosthodontics, and CAD/CAM ceramics.
