Priyal Khapra

Priyal Khapra is a graduate researcher in Computer Science at Texas A&M University, pursuing an M.S. (Class of 2026, GPA 3.8/4.0). She earned her B.Tech. in Computer Science from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, New Delhi, graduating with a CGPA of 9.38/10. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, and cloud-scale data engineering.

She has worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon and held research positions at IIT Indore and IIT Jodhpur, contributing to NLP, computer vision, and AI-driven healthcare projects. She is a co-inventor of an AI Drone Controller with Haptic Dial, registered with the Patent Office, Government of India. Priyal has authored four peer-reviewed research papers and developed AI systems spanning transformer-based NLP, computer vision, and large-scale cloud analytics.
