Shahana Parveen

Shahana Parveen, poet and writer, was born in Muzaffarnagar (U.P.) and is currently residing in Chandigarh. She is a homemaker. Her father was the late Mr. Yusuf Ali and her mother is Mrs. Shameem Ara. She completed her B.A. (Hons.) and M.A. from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, along with an N.T.T. (Nursery Teacher Training) Course in Haryana. She has also actively participated in extracurricular activities such as N.S.S. (National Service Scheme) at AMU.

Her interests include writing poems, stories, short stories, articles, and essays, as well as anchoring. Many of her works have been published in various anthologies and collections, including Bal Kavya, Bazm-e-Hind (Historical Book), SwarAnjali, Kathadweep, Aakhar Kunj, Nav-Kiran, Nav-Srijan, Kavya Srishti, Hey Bharat Bhoomi, and Ratnavali.
